Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Danve told a delegation of MLAs from Maharashtra that the Vande Bharat train will soon be run on the Mumbai-Goa route. Niranjan Davkhare, a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council representing the Konkan graduate constituency, has given this information.
Davkhare said that a delegation of MLAs had met Danve on Friday. During this, Danve told the delegation that Vande Bharat Express train will be run between Mumbai and Goa. Danve said that on the lines of the recently started express train on the Mumbai-Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur routes, a train will also be run between Mumbai and Goa.
The minister told the delegation that the electrification of the Mumbai-Goa rail route has been completed and a new train service will be started after inspection. During the meeting, the delegation discussed several issues related to Railways in Thane and Konkan region with the Minister.
