Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has today announced to provide a facility to the customers. Almost everyone was eagerly waiting for this facility. Now you can verify your mobile number and email id sitting at home.
Yes, you read that right, UIDAI today announced the addition of this facility, which will allow people to easily verify their Aadhaar linked mobile number and email ID. The change came when in some cases, people did not even know which of their mobile numbers was linked to their Aadhaar.
Make changes via website and app
The UIDAI issued a statement saying that this facility can be availed under the ‘Verify Email/Mobile Number’ facility on the official website of UIDAI or through the mAadhaar app.
With this facility people can verify which email/mobile number is linked with Aadhaar. In most of the cases people did not even know which mobile number is linked with Aadhaar . Now people will get freedom from such difficulties.

People will also get information from this facility that even if a particular mobile number is not linked
If they want, they can update the mobile number. If the mobile number is already registered then people will see on the screen that your number is already linked.
If one does not remember the mobile number given by him/her during enrollment, he/she can check the last three digits of the mobile on Aadhaar verification facility on My Aadhaar Portal or mAadhaar App. To link email and mobile number with Aadhaar, the resident has to visit the nearest Aadhaar centre.
