SBI’s 5 best schemes: Up to 9 times return in 10 years, 5 thousand monthly depositors get 22.5 lakhs

It is one of the oldest mutual funds in the country, some of whose schemes are 20 years old or more. There are many schemes of SBI Mutual Fund, which have proved to be return machines for the investors.

SBI Small Cap Fund

SBI Small Cap Fund is the highest returning scheme of SBI Mutual Fund in the last 10 years. It has given 25% CAGR returns in 10 years. Here a lump sum investment of 1 lakh became 9 lakhs in 10 years. On the other hand, those who did a monthly SIP of Rs 5000 during this period, got a fund of 22.5 lakhs.

In this scheme, at least Rs 5000 lump sum and SIP of at least Rs 500 can be done. The total assets of the fund stood at Rs 11,288 crore as on January 31, 2022, while the expense ratio as on December 31, 2021 was 1.73 per cent.

SBI Tech Opportunities Fund

10 Year Returns: 20% CAGR

SBI Tech Opportunities Fund has given 20% CAGR returns in 10 years. Here a lump sum investment of 1 lakh became 6.35 lakhs in 10 years. On the other hand, those who did a monthly SIP of Rs 5000 during this period, got a fund of Rs 20 lakh.

In this scheme, at least Rs 5000 lump sum and SIP of at least Rs 500 can be done. The fund had total assets of Rs 2,313 crore as on January 31, 2022, while the expense ratio as on December 31, 2021 was 2.23 per cent.

SBI Magnum Midcap Fund

10 Year Returns: 20% CAGR

SBI Magnum Midcap Fund scheme has also proved to be a return machine for the investors. The fund has given 20% CAGR returns in 10 years. Here a lump sum investment of 1 lakh became 6.16 lakhs in 10 years. On the other hand, those who did a monthly SIP of Rs 5000 during this period, got a fund of Rs 16.5 lakh.

In this scheme, at least Rs 5000 lump sum and SIP of at least Rs 500 can be done. The total assets of the fund stood at Rs 6,859 crore as on January 31, 2022, while the expense ratio as on December 31, 2021 was 1.94 per cent.

SBI Focused Equity Fund

10 Year Returns: 18% CAGR

SBI Tech Opportunities Fund has given 18% CAGR returns in 10 years. Here a lump sum investment of 1 lakh became 5.28 lakhs in 10 years. On the other hand, those who did a monthly SIP of Rs 5000 during this period, got a fund of Rs 15.5 lakh.

In this scheme, at least Rs 5000 lump sum and SIP of at least Rs 500 can be done. The total assets of the fund stood at Rs 23,186 crore as on January 31, 2022, while the expense ratio as on December 31, 2021 was 1.92 per cent.

SBI Consumption Opportunities Fund

10 Year Return: 17.87% CAGR

SBI Consumption Opportunities Fund is also included in the top 5 in terms of giving top returns in 10 years of SBI Mutual Fund. It has given 17.87% CAGR returns in 10 years. Here a lump sum investment of 1 lakh became 5.18 lakhs in 10 years. On the other hand, those who did a monthly SIP of Rs 5000 during this period, got a fund of Rs 14 lakh.

In this scheme, at least Rs 5000 lump sum and SIP of at least Rs 500 can be done. The fund’s total assets as on January 31, 2022 were Rs 892 crore, while the expense ratio as on December 31, 2021 was 2.44 per cent.
