State Bank of India has announced 50 to 100% rebate on processing fee on home loan. This offer is valid from August 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022. Advocate and Valuer Fee – There is no change in the actual cost.
State Bank of India has announced 50 to 100% rebate on processing fee on home loan. This offer is valid from August 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022. According to SBI’s website, the bank has waived 50% of the basic processing fee for home and home loan (other than takeover). The bank has waived 100% of the basic processing fee for home loan takeover and related top ups.
Advocate and Valuer Fee- There is no change in the actual expenditure, which will be charged to the customer and will be recovered separately. As per the card rate page on SBI’s website, its basic processing fee will be 0.35% of the total loan amount plus GST or from a minimum of Rs 2,000 or a maximum of Rs 10,000.

Other Charges related to Home Loan
There are various charges applicable when you take a home loan. These charges will vary from lender to lender. Additionally, some lenders may charge fees separately, while others may charge individual lenders together. Other charges include login fee, technical evaluation fee, legal fee, franking fee, pre-EMI fee, statutory or regulatory fee, revaluation fee, insurance premium, notary fee and adjudication fee.

SBI External Benchmark Linked Lending Rate: The EBLR of the bank as per SBI is 7.55% + CRP with effect from June 15, 2022. RLLR is 7.15%+CRP. SBI Marginal Cost of Fund-Based Lending Rates: SBI has increased the marginal cost of fund-based lending rates (MCLR) by 0.10 per cent with effect from July 15, 2022.
