Ration Card Latest Rules : The government has changed the rule of ration distribution across the country, every month a special type of rice will be available free of cost.

To prevent malnutrition among women and children, the central government has made preparations to provide free fortified rice every month to ration card holders across the country. For this, fortified rice is being supplied to the ration distribution centers of all the states.

Let us tell you that this rice is full of nutritional elements, the person who eats fortified rice will be able to get plenty of iron, folic acid and vitamin B12. Rich in nutritional elements, this rice tastes just like ordinary rice. Its cooking method is also traditional. Nutrients are abundant in this rice. Actually, the focus of the government is to provide better food to the children who are suffering from malnutrition.

Free wheat-rice will be available every month, there

is a plan to provide free wheat and rice every month to ration card holders till December 2023 under the food security scheme of the Modi government. Under this, three kg rice and two kg wheat are being distributed on one unit to the eligible family every month. Apart from this, 21 kg rice and 14 kg wheat are being given free of cost on each ration card to the beneficiaries of Antyodaya Yojana.

Now fortified rice is being distributed by the government to the ration card holders of the fixed quantity of wheat rice. Allocation of fortified rice has been received in many districts. Where allotment has not been received, it will start reaching soon.
