The law has amended the rules. After this it has become mandatory for all the Kotdars to keep electronic scales. The government is also getting inspection done for this, so that no quota can steal now.
New rule implemented across the country
After this order of the government, now all the fair price shops in the country have been connected with online electronic point of sale ie POS devices. That is, now there is no scope left for disturbances in the ration weighing.
Let us tell you that the government has provided hybrid model point of sale machines to the ration dealers, the beneficiaries of the Public Distribution System (PDS) should not get less ration under any circumstances. What is rule?
According to the information provided by the government, this amendment is an attempt to further the process of reforming the food grain weighing under section 12 of the Act by improving the transparency of the operations of Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS) under NFSA .
