Therefore, the Government of India has started an insurance scheme for such people at a low cost.
Under this scheme, people will get the benefit of insurance on an annual installment of Rs 320 to Rs 799. If a person gets injured in an accident and has to be admitted to a government or private hospital, he will also be able to avail the benefits of the scheme. Anoop Sharma said that the injured person will get Rs 60,000 if he is admitted for 60 days.
People between 18 and 65 years can take advantage of this
scheme. Postmaster Anup Sharma said that to take advantage of this scheme, the minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 65 years. Apart from this, this is a single premium scheme, which means money has to be deposited only once a year. In this scheme, money will be given not only in case of injury, but also for the expenses incurred during treatment. This scheme will be valid only for one year, it can be renewed again after one year.
