Crores of farmers across the country are taking advantage of the PM Kisan Yojana, under which the government is transferring an amount of Rs 6000 annually to the farmers’ accounts. Which farmers will get this money
Under the PM Kisan FPO scheme, the central government provides financial assistance of Rs 18 lakh to farmers to start a business related to agriculture. However, for this farmers will have to join such an organization which has at least 11 farmers. Along with this, the government also helps the farmers to buy essential commodities like fertilizers, seeds, chemicals and agricultural machinery at affordable rates.
Farmers’ income will increase
Farmers can also take advantage of loans from banks at cheaper rates under this scheme. To help the farmers financially, the Modi government has started the ‘PM Kisan FPO Yojana’ scheme. Under the scheme, Rs 18 lakh will be given to the Farmer Producer Organisation. Farmers across the country will be given financial assistance to start a new agriculture business. To take advantage of this scheme, 11 farmers will have to form an organization together. With this, it will also be easier for farmers to buy farming equipment or fertilizers, seeds or medicines.
