Pashudhan Beema Yojna: Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Vinod Kumar Vishwakarma told Local 18 that under the Pashudhan Bima Yojana, livestock farmers are getting a discount of 75% to 90% in the insurance premium.
A large part of our society does animal husbandry. Especially the rural environment and agriculture based economy is also a reason for this. Our country is an agricultural country, where most of the people do agriculture and agriculture based business. Along with this, they also do animal husbandry business. Agriculture and animal husbandry are interrelated businesses.
In simple language, agriculture and animal husbandry are considered to be complementary businesses to each other. It is very important for animal husbandry farmers to take care of the animals. 75 to 90 percent discount is available on animal insurance
Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Vinod Kumar Vishwakarma told Local 18 that under the Pashudhan Bima Yojana, livestock farmers are getting a discount of 75% to 90% in the insurance premium. Animal farmers from general and backward classes get 75% relief on insurance premium and livestock farmers from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category get 90% relief. He said that livestock farmers get the benefit of Pashudhan Bima Yojana through low premium, so that they do not have to bear the loss due to animals.
This is an important scheme for livestock farmers
There are many livestock farmers whose livelihood is dependent on livestock farming. Sometimes livestock farmers have to suffer losses due to unknown reasons and diseases. In such a situation, livestock farmers get benefits through the Central Government’s Pashudhan Bima Yojana. Under this scheme, livestock farmers can avail the benefits of this scheme by paying the minimum insurance premium. Animal farmers can easily get animal insurance through the veterinary officer.
