Now it takes up to 14 hours to cover this journey. Gadkari said that Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg will be linked with the newly proposed Pune-Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Axis Control Green Expressway near Chhatrapati Shambhajinagar to reduce travel time.
