New Insurance Products Launch: Leading non-life insurance company ICICI Lombard has launched 14 new insurance products. These include riders/add-ons and upgrades in the health, motor and corporate sectors.
The company says that keeping in mind the needs of different customers, these products have been launched in different categories. With this, customers will be able to get seamless and tech enabled insurance solutions.

The company says that new types of risks are being seen in the insurance industry. Be it pandemic or climate change or data privacy. Hence it has increased the demand for comprehensive coverage from the customers. Keeping this in mind, the company has announced new offers.

New products introduced by the company
Golden Shield: Golden Shield provides financial protection to citizens against uncertain health risks. It offers a policy that covers hospitalization expenses. This coverage includes room rent, ICU, doctor’s fees, anesthesia, blood, oxygen, OT charges, medicines and much more. It also covers medical expenses for day-care procedures/treatment which require hospitalization of less than 24 hours.
Health AdvantEdge: Health AdvantEdge is a special offering for global citizens, which includes domestic and international cover. This includes increasing access to unlimited teleconsultation, air ambulance and emergency support services before and after hospitalisation.
BeFit: This is a first of its kind product in the industry as a cashless OPD policy. It covers common ailments like cough/cold or minor injuries that do not require hospitalisation.
Motor Floater Insurance: With a motor floater policy, customers can avail the convenience of a single policy, single renewal date and single premium for all their motor policies. Customers are provided with an affordable premium for their multiple vehicles under this policy.
Telematics add-on: This add-on cover converts the base motor product into an ‘asset cum usage’ based product. Wherein the premium charged for insuring the base motor vehicle will partly depend on the usage.
Apart from this, new products include Pay-As-You-Use Plan, Pay-How-You-Use Plan, Emergency Medical Expense Cover, EMI Protect, Club Royal Home Insurance, Liability Floater Drone Insurance. Its retail cyber liability insurance is also included in this.
