Multibagger Stock : Investors went crazy over chemical company’s stock, it jumped 13%, LIC and SBI Life have a big stake

Multibagger Stock: On Friday, investors rushed to buy the shares of specialty chemicals company Atul Limited. It rose by 13 percent during trading. The country’s largest insurance company LIC and SBI Life have a large stake in the company.

Multibagger Stock: Indian stock markets witnessed a tremendous rise on Friday (April 11). Investors were delighted with the decision to ban US tariffs for 90 days. In this episode, shares of specialty chemicals company Atul Limited were in focus on Friday. During trading, these shares rose by more than 13 percent to Rs 5900. At the end of trading, the company’s shares closed at Rs 5713.70 with a gain of 10.30 percent on BSE. The country’s largest insurance company LIC and SBI Life have a big bet on the company.

It has proved to be a multibagger stock for long term investors. Investors who have held the company’s shares for 15 years have gained more than 6200 percent so far. This means that if someone had invested Rs 1 lakh in the stock 15 years ago and has not sold the shares yet, then the investment would have become Rs 63 lakh.

LIC and SBI Life have a big stake
The market cap of Atul Limited is Rs 16822 crore. The 52 week high of the stock is Rs 8,165.25 and the 52 week low is Rs 4882. LIC’s stake in the company is 5.44 percent while SBI Life’s stake is 2.61 percent.

Status of company’s shares
If we look at the performance of Atul Limited’s shares, there has been a slight increase of 6.53 percent in the last one week. It has given a return of 2.40 percent in the last one month. There has been a decline of 15.80 percent in the last 3 months. So far this year, it has given a negative return of 17.88 percent. There has been a decline of 7.80 percent in the last one year. These shares have declined by 43.42 percent in 3 years.
