LIC WhatsApp Service: Life Insurance Corporation of India has launched select interactive WhatsApp services for its registered LIC policyholders. Policyholders who have registered their policy on LIC portal to avail LIC WhatsApp services can access these services on WhatsApp by texting ‘HI’ to mobile number 8976862090. Let us tell you, the company had given information about this by tweeting.

How to Register LIC Policy on LIC Portal
- Go to www.licindia.in and click on “Customer Portal”.
- If you have not registered for the Customer Portal earlier, click on “New User”.
- Please provide the following details:
- Visit www.licindia.in , click on the “New User” tab, choose your User-ID and Password and provide all the required information. After going through all these process you will become a registered user.
- Click on the “e-Services” tab, log in using the User ID created by you, and register your policies for using the e-Services by filling up the form provided.
- Print the form, sign it and upload the scanned image of the form.
- Upload the scanned copy of PAN Card or Aadhar Card or Passport.
- After verification by LIC offices, an e-mail and SMS will be sent to you informing that you are now ready to avail our e-services.
- Click on submit button.
- Select the User ID and Password of your choice and submit.
- Login and click on the option of ‘Basic Services’ > “Add Policy”.
- Nominate all your outstanding policies.
