LIC has started a special drive for the customer giving an opportunity to revive the policies with personal insurance. In a statement issued by LIC, it was said that except ULIPs, all policies can be revived under a special campaign with late fee waiver. This campaign will start on August 17 and will run till October 21, 2022.
As per the statement, all policies other than ULIPs can be
revived within a period of 5 years from the date of default in the first premium subject to certain conditions. The insurance company said that for micro-insurance policies, a discount of 100 percent will be given on the late fee, so that the risk can be covered.
