LIC Policy has Lapsed! golden opportunity to restart it, late fee will also have to be paid 30 percent less

New Delhi. If for some reason your Life Insurance Corporation of India policy (LIC Policy) has lapsed, then you have a chance to get it started again. If you now restart your LIC policy, you will have to pay 30 percent less late fee. This means you will save a lot of money. LIC has started a special revival campaign to give its customers an opportunity to revive the lapsed policy. This scheme, which started from September 1, will run till October 31, 2023.

LIC policies which have lapsed during the premium payment period and whose policy term has not yet been completed, can be revived once again. Under the special revival campaign, policies with eligible plans between five years from the first date of non-payment of premium can be revived. According to a post shared on LIC’s official

30% discount will be available:

Under the LIC Special Revival Campaign, a discount of 30% or a maximum of Rs 3,000 will be available on policies with an annual premium of Rs 1 lakh. A discount of 30% or a maximum of Rs 3,500 will be available on policies with annual premium ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. There will be a discount of 30% or a maximum of Rs 4 thousand on policies with premium of Rs 3 lakh 1 and above.
