Some companies selling health insurance in a wrong way
In case of any kind of medical emergency, a health insurance plan helps you financially in the treatment. But some companies are selling plans in a wrong way, due to which your money can be sunk in future. In such a situation, the insurance regulator Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has issued advisory for those buying health insurance .
People don’t pay attention to important things
Actually, many times people buy health insurance policy in a hurry but do not pay attention to the important things. In the digital age, many people take policies from online platforms. In such a situation, Irda advises to check whether the company from which you are buying the policy is authorized by the regulator for this or not.

If you take a policy from a company which is not authorized then your money can be lost. It is possible that you may not even get the benefit of insurance cover in a health emergency. The Insurance Regulator (IRDAI) has alerted people about an unauthorized and unregistered company on its website.
Know about IRDA Company Information
In the notice issued by IRDA on 13 April 2022, it has been said that Even Healthcare Pvt Ltd is an unauthorized company. It is not registered with IRDA. Therefore , you can be a victim of fraud by taking health insurance from its online platform https://even.in .
The corporate office of the company is in Bangalore
In the circular issued on the website, IRDA wrote, ‘It has come to notice that Even Healthcare Pvt Ltd is offering a health plan. The Corporate Office of this company is at 311, 6th Main Road, HAL 2nd Stage, Indira Nagar, Bangalore, Karnataka-560038. The plans offered by Even Healthcare are not health insurance.
