If the insurance claim is rejected, then you should first go to the Grievance Redressal Officer of the insurance company and lodge a complaint.

How to complain to IRDAI

If the insurance company does not take proper action on your complaint then you can complain to IRDAI. For this, you can lodge a complaint with IRDAI by email (Complaints@irdai.gov.in) or on toll free number (155255 or 1800 4254 732).
