Indian Railway New Rules: If you carry more luggage than this on a ticket in the train, you will have to loose your pocket, this much will be fined

New Indian Railway Rules: People book train tickets well in advance to go anywhere. When someone goes to his home, obviously he takes the goods with him. Do you know how much luggage a passenger can take with him in the train? Although it differs according to the class.

Rules have been set for carrying luggage in sleeper coach, tier-2 coach and first class coach in the train. That is, you can carry goods only up to a specified limit. According to your ticket, a weight is fixed and according to that you can take the goods in the train.

According to railway rules, a passenger can carry 40 kg of luggage in a sleeper coach. If there are two people, then you can carry up to 80 kg of goods. This limit is per passenger. At the same time, a passenger can carry up to 50 kg of luggage in Tier-2 coach. In first class this limit becomes more. Passengers traveling in First Class can carry up to 70 kg of luggage.

This is the rule of fine:

If someone travels in a train carrying more than the limit, then he has to pay a fine of more than Rs.600 for a journey of up to 500 kilometers. This penalty is decided on the basis of distance. If there is more luggage then it has to be deposited in the luggage bogie.
