To enable access to global health treatment options and facilitate cashless treatment abroad as well, Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited (FGII) has launched its new health product, FG Health. The company started this with a joint venture between retail giant Future Group and global insurer Generali. FG Health Elite claims that they will provide policyholders with a wide range of health care options including global protection and wellness that are not typically covered by traditional health insurance plans.
According to FG Health Elite, they offer individuals the choice of sum insured in multiples of Rs.50 lakhs, ranging from Rs.75 lakhs and Rs.1 crores to Rs.6 crores. They offer maximum coverage for medical bills, doctor visits, OPD treatment and mental health coverage along with global protection. The policy term for FG Health Elite ranges from one to three years with the possibility of lifetime renewal.

What is the company’s planning
company has said that under this plan, policyholders will also be eligible for wellness benefits including value added services and wellness reward points. These services can be availed from the FG Insure App. Value-added services include tele-consultations, webinars, wellness content, fitness and wellness vouchers and health checkups. If an insured does not make a single claim in a year, then he will be given a rebate of 10% on the premium.
There are also children above 91 days, the company eligible for this insurance
said that this insurance policy can be bought by any person between the age of 8 to 65 years. Apart from this, children above 91 days will also be covered in this policy. A maximum of 15 family members can be covered under FG Health Elite.
