health insurance plans : IRDA warns customers – this company is not registered with us, people should deal only at their own risk

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has said in its notice that Even Healthcare Private Limited, a company selling health insurance plans through online platforms, is unauthorized. It is not registered with IRDA. Customers buy health plans from this at their own risk.

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has cautioned customers against dealing with a company that sells health covers. This warning has been given by issuing a public notice on behalf of IRDA. Especially, those people need to be more cautious, people who buy health insurance policies from online platforms.

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) has said in the notice that Even Healthcare Private Limited, a company selling health insurance plans through the online platform, is unauthorized. It is not registered with IRDA.

The circular issued by IRDA states, “The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has come to know that Even Healthcare Pvt Ltd is offering health plans to the customers. It is offering this through its website Even.in.

All the people are informed that this plan is not a health insurance plan nor is this company registered with IRDA. If anyone takes this plan of Even Healthcare Pvt Ltd, then he is advised to take it at his own risk.Corporate office in Bangalore

The insurance regulator has given the full details and address of this company in its circular. Its corporate office is in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. IRDA has clarified by cautioning customers that they should buy policies only from companies registered with IRDA or insurance agents and insurance intermediaries appointed by it. In order to prevent fraud from customers, the insurance regulator keeps issuing such warnings from time to time.
