However, there has been a marginal increase in the share of policyholders coming from tier-2 and 3 cities. Other important points of the survey
- The number of policyholders under 40 has increased from 47% to 52%, indicating a proactive approach towards health among young women. An increase of 22% has been seen in those below 25 years of age, 9.8% in the 26 to 35 age group and 11.7% in the 41-50 age group.

- Maternity insurance, a new concept introduced within the insurance ecosystem, is gaining momentum among women with a growth of 31%, which can be attributed to the recently launched innovative and customized products.

- The growing awareness among women is not just in purchasing health insurance, it also extends to claims. The share of women filing claims has increased by 25%.
