According to the order issued by the Under Chief Secretary (Finance) Rajesh Kumar Singh, apart from government employees, pensioners/family pensioners and eligible members of their families, employees and pensioners of government universities, Chief Minister, Leader of the Opposition, Chief Whip, Speaker of the Assembly and Directly appointed personal staff of Vice President etc. can also take advantage of this scheme.

Under this State Employees and Pensioners Medical Insurance Scheme (Medicep), the annual premium for 2022-24 will be Rs 4800 and ‘GST’. The monthly premium of insurance will be Rs 500.
