GIC Vacancy 2024: Educational Qualification and Age Limit
To apply for these posts, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
General and Finance– Bachelor’s degree with at least 60 percent marks is required. If the candidate has done post-graduate or MBA, he will get additional advantage.
Legal– Law degree is mandatory and LLM or Civil Law degree will be preferred.
IT, Actuarial, Insurance, Engineering, HR and MBBS Doctor- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject is required.
The age limit of the candidates applying for these posts should be between 21 to 30 years. However, candidates of reserved category will be given relaxation in age limit as per government rules.
GIC Jobs 2024: What is the selection process?
Online Exam– Candidates will have to take an online exam first.
Group Discussion (GD)– Selected candidates will participate in group discussion.
Interview– Candidates who are successful in the group discussion round will be called for personal interview.
Medical Test- There will be a medical test in the final round to ensure whether the candidates meet the health requirements or not.
After being successful in all these stages, the selected candidates will join the General Insurance Corporation of India as Scale 1 Officer and will get a monthly salary of up to Rs 85 thousand. Apart from this, they will also be given various allowances.
