In such a situation, the government has again taken an important step for the poor and helpless people in Bihar and the government is fully ready to help such economically weak people for better treatment. To avail this service, it is necessary for the beneficiaries to have Ayushman Bharat or Chief Minister Jan Arogya Card. With this, they will easily get the benefit of health insurance up to 5 lakhs even in any serious disease.
Any sick beneficiary under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana can easily get the card made by visiting their nearest Jan System from 18 July 2024 to 31 July 2024. Ayushman Bharat card can be made at all 1452 public distribution system shops across the district.

Meanwhile, Purnia District Officer Kundan Kumar said that the government has set a target to cover all the left out beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. At the same time, the District Officer directed that at least 250 cards should be made daily by all the manpower provided for making cards at the Public Distribution System shops. However, he said that a total of 2262125 beneficiaries are yet to be covered under the Jan Arogya Yojana in Purnia district. The government has set a target to cover at least 452425 beneficiaries under this scheme during this special campaign. Therefore, it is important that the maximum number of beneficiaries’ cards per center can be made during the special campaign period. At the same time, he instructed all the concerned officials to ensure that more people than the set target get the proper benefits of this scheme.
To make a card under the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana, the beneficiaries will have to take their Aadhar card, mobile and ration card with them and go to their respective public distribution system shops during the special campaign and get their cards made there
. However, he said that all the beneficiaries were also instructed to provide pamphlets and a list of hospitals listed in the district for treatment.
