Ayushman Bharat Yojana : Gets free treatment up to five lakh rupees, crores of people are availing benefits, check eligibility like this

Ayushman Bharat Yojana Ayushman Bharat is the health scheme of the Central Government. It was started in 2018. Under this scheme, Ayushman card is issued, through which a person can get free treatment up to five lakh rupees.

Ayushman Bharat Yojana Many schemes have been started by the Central Government for the welfare of the poor people. One such scheme is Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Chief Minister Scheme, which was earlier known as Ayushman Bharat Yojana. This scheme was started by the Central Government in 2018 and till now more than 4 crore people have taken advantage of it.

Under this scheme, the beneficiary can get free treatment up to five lakh rupees from any hospital and he does not have to spend a single rupee. However, not everyone can apply for this scheme. The benefit of the scheme is given by the government to the poor sections of the country.

Who can apply

Anyone above the age of 18 can apply for Ayushman Bharat. You must have BPL card. Along with this you name should be in SECC-11.

  • To get Ayushman card, first you have to go to its official website pmjay.gov.in/.
  • After that click on ‘am i eligible’.
  • Then enter captcha with mobile number.
  • After this OTP will come on mobile. enter the.
  • Then a new page will open in front of you.
  • There will be two options here. Search by entering ration card in first and mobile number and ration card number in second.
  • Then your eligibility will be known.

Apart from this, you can check your eligibility by visiting the nearest public service center.
