Stepping up the competition in the fixed broadband segment, Jio has introduced an entry-level plan of Rs 198 per month. This plan has been named Broadband Back-up Plan. In this, the maximum internet speed will be 10 megabits per second.
Reliance Jio has launched many plans in its prepaid plan, apart from this, new plans have also been included in fiber. This new plan has come at the time when IPL 2023 is going to start. Stepping up the competition in the fixed broadband segment, Jio has introduced an entry-level plan of Rs 198 per month. This plan has been named Broadband Back-up Plan. In this, the maximum internet speed will be 10 megabits per second.
Earlier the cheapest plan was Rs 399.
Till now the minimum price for Jio Fiber connection was Rs 399 per month. Jio spokesperson said that we understand the need of customers to be ‘connected’ at all times. We aim to offer reliable broadband connectivity to homes as an alternative to JioFiber backup.
The company will also give customers the option of increasing the internet speed to 30 Mbps or 100 Mbps. For this facility of one to seven days, customers will have to pay Rs 21 to 152.
The price of Jio Fiber Backup plan is Rs 1,490 and in this Rs 500 is being charged from you for installation i.e. Rs 990 is the cost of the plan and Rs 500 is for installation. In this case, the monthly effective price of this plan becomes Rs 198. The plan will be for 5 months.
