Indian Railway Night Rules: Do not charge mobile while traveling at night, Railway has implemented this rule

Indian Railway Night Rules: Indian Railways has decided that it will not allow passengers to charge their mobile phones and other electronic devices at night during travel as a precautionary measure. The decision was taken after incidents of fire in some trains came to the fore.

According to senior railway officials, the decision to stop mobile charging facility in trains at night is being taken as a precautionary measure.

decision has been implemented

Railways says that the points used for charging mobile phones and other electronic devices will remain closed from 11 pm to 5 am. Please tell that this decision is not of today. Railways has taken this decision a few years ago. This instruction of the Railway Board is applicable from March 16, 2021. However, there is a lack of this information among the passengers, due to which even today people are caught charging their phones in trains at night.

Railway’s request to passengers

In a report released on train fires, the authorities also suggested people to switch off points used for charging mobile phones and other electronic devices at night. Officials have reported that many incidents of minor fires in long-distance trains were caused by overcharging of electronic equipment. It is seen that people fall asleep by putting the phone on charge, due to which many problems arise due to over charging. So people are advised to avoid charging mobile during night as per railway rules.
