Rajasthan Budget Health 2023: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made a big announcement regarding the Chiranjeevi scheme in Rajasthan. Under this scheme, instead of 10 lakhs, free treatment up to 25 lakhs will be available. This announcement of the government has been made in view of the assembly elections. Presenting the budget speech in the assembly, Gehlot said that the people of Rajasthan have been increased from 10 lakh to 25 lakh under the Chiranjeevi scheme. Along with this, the accident insurance amount has also been increased from 5 lakh to 10 lakh.
With this announcement of the Chief Minister, the facility of free treatment will be available to lakhs of patients. The Chief Minister said that in view of the expansion of health facilities in the state, we have also decided to open testing centers at the block level. More than 50 tests can be done free of cost at the test centers. EWS families will also get the benefit of Chiranjeevi Yojana.
